On December 9th, Yeti number one returned from his mission to Ukraine. We let him rest and
recuperate for a month before we decided to talk him into coming over to our home to share his pictures and experiences with us. It is so wonderful having him home because that means it is one step closer to having Elder Ashton home!
We invited the Schatzmans to come over and share the experience with us because they love Elder Perry too and they are really big on missionary experiences being that they have only been members for 14 years or so. Missionaries have a really special place in their hearts.Elder Perry showed us two really big packs of pictures containing beautiful scenery, mysterious graveyards,
really old buildings (in fact his apartment was over 800 years old!!) interesting food (which he didn't like and learned how to spread it around his plate so that it looked like he had eaten it!) and wonderful people. He said that his mission was a very difficult mission in that the people were not very receptive to their message but he loved it anyway. Unlike Elder Ashton who has baptized quite a few people already, Elder Perry said he only was able to baptize 2 people but I am sure that he touched many lives just by being the awesome person that he is. It will be great to have Brian, Carson and Ashton all together and what a great time they will have sharing all of their completely different missionary stories with each other. I would surely love to be a fly on the wall when they do that!

What a handsome guy Elder Perry is. We love all the missionaries and the RM's, too. Truly noble people. Welcome home Elder Perry and God Bless.
