Here is the official letter from the mission president.....actually it is only the picture from the letter but it is so good to see how wonderful Ashton looks!! The whole letter was printed on photo paper and did not fold well so that is why there is the big line through the middle of the picture. Except for that, the picture is awesome!! He really likes his mission president and his wife....and he loves his companion! He has been so blessed to have great companions so far and when he has the opportunity to become a senior companion his 'greenies' will love him too! What a wonderful mission Ashton has been sent to!!

Don't you love seeing how happy everyone is in those 'Welcome to the Mission' pictures? Pres. Silva has yet to completely realize how exceptionally fortunate he is to get Elder Ashton. We love our two Smith missionaries!
