Hello Again!!

I am going to hurry and put Elder Ashton's rather uneventful but positive email that I received today so that I can share with you some out-of-the-ordinary events in the life of a missionary in Africa! Wow.......just wait to hear his adventures! I am sure that when Elder Ashton gets out into the field he will have some experiences to share, too, but I am praying they are not going to be like Elder Carson's!!! No offense, Elder Carson, but I'm not sure Elder Ashton is cut out of the same mold as you :)

Hey family!

Its me again, i can tell all of you just cant wait for me to send an email each week. well it is still pretty boring around here. It should get exciting this week though because on friday we get to go proselyting!! oh my heck it is gonna be so scary. they take us to the middle of sao paulo and drop us off where there are like a million people and we just start talkin to them. itll be strange. so i still dont know what happened to grandma cause ive only received two letters so far. i dont know if they are being sent to my mission or what so hopefully i get those soon. its so cool, ive met a bunch of missionaries that i know from home. sad news today though, our brazilian roommates left for the field. i did take some pictures though mom so dont worry. Hopefully ill be able to figure out how to get you them. so the ward is gettin pretty strange eh, dad is going to be a great priest leader. not even joking. tell matt to email me!! I might have to break a rule and email him back. thats cool that jameson is serving now. too bad i wont be there to be served by him for awhile. bri checked the blog!!! that is awesome, i hope he is doing well. The pack that i bought isnt leather. its just like a regular back pack but man bag style. its way cool and dont worry, the language is tough but i think ill get it sooner or later. TCHAU!!
